Seasonal eating is all about eating the way our ancestors ate. For me, this means:
- Lots of dark, leafy greens in spring
- Berries and most of the available veggies in summer
- Winter squash, apples, winter pears and other hardy produce for fall
- Meat, fish, poultry and seafood plus nuts, dried fruit and bone broth in winter
